Sales Tax Exemption for Illinois Organizations

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop collects sales tax only for orders shipped to Illinois. If your organization is tax-exempt under Illinois law, you may request a refund of sales tax on your order and have future orders processed tax-free.

Who qualifies?

• Illinois nonprofit organizations
• Illinois public libraries
• Illinois public schools

How it works

1. Place your order normally — sales tax will be charged at checkout as usual.
2. Submit the request form below — provide your order number and organization details.
3. Our team reviews your request — we may ask for a copy of your Illinois tax exemption certificate (E-999 or ST-5).
4. If approved:
   • We will issue a refund for the sales tax charged on that order.
   • Your account will be marked tax-exempt so future orders are automatically tax-free.
